THE POTLUCK HAS SOLD OUT. TICKETS ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE ONLINE OR AT THE DOOR.

We would love to see you at the potluck but ticket sales have reached the capacity of our event room! You can however purchase tickets to take a tour of the sanctuary in May or June. Also make sure you are on our mailing list to get updates about upcoming events later this spring and summer.





POTLUCK INFORMATION FOR TICKET HOLDERS

As a conclusion to National Be Kind to Animals Week, running May 7-13, MFS is hosting a vegan potluck highlighting the ways that people can be kind to farm animals through their dietary choices and lifestyles. Guests will enjoy a variety of delicious vegan dishes and hear a speech by MFS co-founder Cheri Vandersluis on the ways that we can do small things to be kind to animals every day of the year. The event includes a sanctuary tour and giving of small gifts for the rescued farm animals at MFS.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

11:30am: Vegan Potluck begins
1:00pm: Speech and Q&A with Cheri Vandersluis
2:00pm: Sanctuary tours begin

PLEASE PURCHASE TICKETS IN ADVANCE
If the tickets do not sell out online, we will have some available at the door. But we cannot guarantee that, so please get your tix in advance.

Q&A WITH CHERI
Submit a question for Cheri to answer during our Q&A! Comment on Facebook or email events@maplefarmsanctuary.org with your question. We ask that questions be related to the general event theme of "kindness to animals." For example, maybe you are wondering about Cheri's most memorable rescue, experiences running a sanctuary, vegan lifestyle tips, or perspective on the future of farm animal protection. The Q&A will be broadcast live on Facebook.

TOUR INFO
The venue is down the street from the sanctuary and we will be leading 3 successive small tours beginning at 2pm.

POTLUCK INFO
Drinks will be provided. Please bring a vegan dish to serve a minimum of 8 hungry vegans. Kindly refrain from using any animal products in your dish, this includes meat, fish, eggs, dairy and honey. It's easier than it sounds, check out these links for tips and inspiration!

Label your dish with your name so it can be returned to you at the end of the potluck. Please also attach a list of ingredients or the recipe for those with food allergies

Children under 12 are free and do not need to bring a dish. Please order child tickets in advance (cost is $0) to let us know they will be attending.
