Celebrate St. Patrick's Day the MFS way—by eating delicious vegan food and learning how to make some truly amazing cruelty-free desserts. The event will include a vegan potluck followed by a cooking class by Colin McCullough of Colin Cooks Vegan that will showcase several healthy vegan desserts. You can also participate in a raffle to win a free private tour of MFS.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

  • 12:00pm: Vegan potluck begins
  • 1:30pm-3:00pm: Heart-Healthy Desserts class
  • 3:00pm: Raffle winner announced

COOKING CLASS

Heart-Healthy Desserts: Is it possible to make decadent desserts that are…good for you? Bring your sweet tooth and find out how! Colin will demonstrate how to make four desserts from whole-food ingredients: Peppermint Blizzard Rolls, Coconut Mojito Bites, Pumpkin Spice Bites, and Turkish Delightful Bars. Guests will be able to sample each dish.

PRIVATE TOUR RAFFLE

At the event we will be raffling off a chance to win a free private tour of the sanctuary. Tickets will be sold during the potluck and the winner will receive a private tour for up to 5 people during MFS tour season from April-November.

PLEASE PURCHASE TICKETS IN ADVANCE

If the tickets do not sell out online, we will have some available at the door. However, we cannot guarantee that tickets will be available, so please buy your tickets in advance.

POTLUCK INFO

Drinks will be provided. Please bring a vegan dish to serve a minimum of 8 hungry vegans. Kindly refrain from using any animal products in your dish, including meat, fish, eggs, dairy, and honey. Check out these links for tips and inspiration:

Label your dish with your name so it can be returned to you at the end of the potluck. Please also attach a list of ingredients or the recipe for those with food allergies.

All proceeds from the potluck will go to benefit the animals of MFS.
