For the Month of May we are setting a big goal of raising $10,000!!

#GivingTuesdayNow, on May 5th, and #CovidCantStopGOOD
are symbols that we will prevail together by supporting our neighbors, small businesses, essential workers & most importantly, non-profit organizations who rely solely on volunteer labor and financial donations.
Join the movement to remind people the COVID-19 will not win this war!!

Life has always been full of uncertainty and the Coronavirus Pandemic has magnified this sense of fear 10-fold. Many people are wondering if they'll go to bed hungry or if they'll see their loved ones again. Even with all the panic and uncertainty people are still providing hope and comfort.

Cheri & Jim, the founders of Maple Farm Sanctuary, embarked on a mission to live a no-kill life when they transitioned their dairy farm to an animal sanctuary. Cheri and Jim knew they could no longer sell their baby goats for meat and did not want to continue producing kids as the bi-product of goats milk. The goat milk and kids the farm produced were part of their income that supported the farm and their home. Shifting from a profitable dairy farm to a life saving animal sanctuary created a very frightening and uncertain circumstance for them. However, Cheri and Jim are resilient and continue their life-saving work day in and day out, often times staying up until 4am to make sure all sanctuary chores and animals are taken care of. Their work never ends and the needs of the sanctuary and the animals always comes before their own.

Please help keep this sanctuary open. To make sure Cheri and Jim stay healthy, volunteers are only allowed at the farm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, leaving most of the sanctuary duties for Cheri and Jim to do. Since access to the farm has been strictly limited and all fundraising events have been postponed, the farm is struggling financially, like most other businesses and families, and they are once again facing a very frightening and uncertain circumstance.
